If you’re planning to teach or train in the “Lifelong Learning Sector”, a PTLLS award allows you to demonstrate that you have the right skills to do your job well.

The Level 3 Award is carefully tailored to give you a solid introduction to basic practical teaching skills and theory, and will help you to develop your abilities in a number of key areas, including:

• Roles Responsibilities and Relationships in the Lifelong Learning Sector
• Understanding Inclusive Learning and Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
• Using Inclusive Learning and Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
• Principles of Assessment in the Lifelong Learning Sector

PTLLS Level 3

On this course, you’ll develop a thorough understanding in these areas, under the guidance of a team of friendly, experienced and qualified instructors, who will give you all the support you need.

This qualification is now a requirement for anyone wishing to teach in a further education establishment, or to deliver training which attracts government funding.

PTLLS Level 3 is the initial qualification needed for trainers wishing to teach at security level for both the Level 2 1884 course and the new Door Supervisors physical interventions training course.
