Course Overview
The Level 2 Certificate in Conflict Management is designed to provide a basic understanding of how to deal effectively with workplace violence. It is a vocational award aimed at public and private sector employees that are vulnerable to incidents involving violent or aggressive people. The award is linked to the knowledge and understanding requirements of the Security Industry Authority specification for security guarding and the Level 2 NVQ in Providing Security Services. Recommended by ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers), the Level 2 Certificate in Conflict Management is also suitable for local authority and civil enforcement officers who carry out high risk duties where good conflict management skills are essential.
