“Thank you for contributing to our ‘Independence Day’ held at Sheffield University. Without exception your session proved to be the most popular once again.”

Joan Shaw, Silverdale School Sheffield

“This course should be compulsory for all staff. I really enjoyed the presentation and feel I have picked up some valuable tips along the way. Thank you.”

Sara Webster,  Manager Capital One,  Nottingham

“Thank you so much for attending and presenting at the ACG Law Enforcement Roadshow. Your attendance at these events is incredibly useful to both ACG and to our enforcement delegates/colleagues. The practical and entertaining way in which Brooks Jordan deal with such an important subject as personal safety is innovative and so important in this day and age when conflict resolution skills are a necessity rather than a luxury. Time and again our feedback sheets name Brooks Jordan as the most useful aspect of the day and the session that delegates enjoyed most. I look forward to working with you at future ACG Law Enforcement Roadshows.”

Alison Newbold, Anti Counterfeiting Group Manager

Medical Profession

“We booked Brooks Jordan to deliver Personal Safety / Conflict Resolution with Breakaway Skills training for Solihull and Birmingham VTS students; and I have to say we weren’t disappointed!  Chris was brilliant!  He was a great speaker, and his anecdotes of personal experience of handling conflict allowed him to bring the training to life.   Showing us simple breakaway techniques in case of personal attack was most useful.  The training represented exceptional value and I would have no hesitation in recommending him”.

Dr Ryan Prince MB ChB MRCGP
GP Trainer, Training Programme Director and Associate GP Dean – West Midlands Deanery
Royal College of General Practitioners Honorary Secretary – Midland Faculty

“I thought I would tell you this otherwise I will forget!  I sat in on the first half of Brooks Jordan’s training on Equality & Diversity at Cropwell Bishop Surgery yesterday and I would have liked to have stayed for the whole session: I enjoyed the content and also Helen’s presentation style.

Later on, I happened to be at an evening meeting at the City Hospital when I caught up with Marylin Hemmett the Practice Manager.  As we were leaving I asked her for some feedback as she had also sat in on the training session.  She said it was extremely well received by her staff – so much so, that when your trainer Helen finished the session, the group gave her a spontaneous round of applause!!
We both agreed that the fact that Helen uses the flip chart was quite refreshing and makes a change to just looking at someone’s powerpoint presentation!!  I think the flipchart allows it to be much more interactive – which is what Helen did very well.
Thanks again and pass on my thanks to Helen too”

Sandra Ketch
Primary Care Manager – BMI The Park Hospital

“Thank you for participating in our GP Refresher course. I have enclosed a copy the feedback and as you will see you have scored the top marks yet again!
Marks awarded 6.8 out of 7.”

“With their vast knowledge of the subjects both lecturers made the subject even more interesting – One of the best workshops I have ever been on.”

Carmel O’Brien, Clinical Governance Facilitator North Charnwood PCT

“Nice to be taught by trainers who are actively engaged in law enforcement with an up to date knowledge of their subject matter.”

Jude Geraghty, Lincolnshire NHS Shared Services

“The feedback from your personal safety training session was excellent from both
participants and course organisers, a perfect combination of information,
practical skills, and “fun.” Thanks very much. In my role as deanery
recruitment lead I will continue to encourage other programme areas in the
East Midlands to take up this training.”

Dr Rob Grinstead,  Associate Dean NHS West Midlands Workforce Deanery

“As Programme Director of Chesterfield VTS I would wholeheartedly recommend the personal safety and conflict management with breakaway skills training provided by Brooks Jordan Training Services. For over ten years Brooks Jordan’s innovative training has helped to prepare doctors on the Chesterfield GP vocational training scheme to meet the challenges of working in general practice. Their insightful programme delivered in an impactive and entertaining way gives practical guidance about managing conflict and dealing with issues of personal safety in the surgery or while working in the community – I would recommend this training to anyone who has one to one contact with the public or for staff who work alone in community.”

Dr Martin Bradley, Programme Director Chesterfield Vocational Training Scheme

Local Authority

“Excellent course identifying many aspects of Personal Safety, geared towards enforcement staff and presented by persons who themselves have had many years of enforcement experience. The practical session was excellent. This course is suitable for any member of NYCC especially staff who have to meet members of the public.”

Lawrence Black, North Yorkshire County Council Trading Standards Special Investigations Unit

“A very enjoyable course which will be very useful in every day situations. I found the training to be a good mix of practical advice and theoretical information backed up by knowledgeable and experienced tutors – an excellent course all round.”

G.Davies, Leisure Centre Manager Bassetlaw District Council Worksop Nottinghamshire

“A practical hands on course taught by very experienced trainers.”

Steve Riggott,  Nottingham City Council

“A well presented course on handling conflict in the job. The trainers dealt very well with identifying the early warning signs which may precede physical assault and danger signs indicating when an assault may be imminent. They provided practical guidance on how best to diffuse fraught situations. The whole course was pitched at just the right level. A very worthwhile & informative course.”

Kevin Stace, North Yorkshire County Council Regulatory Services

Since Brooks Jordan started training Hampshire’s Community Safety Officers, reports involving incidents of violence and aggression have dropped from eight a week to two a month and I have no hesitation in recommending this company as I can testify that this training in Personal Safety & Conflict Resolution represents an excellent investment in staff training.

Paul Hayes Community Safety Manager Hampshire County Council.
